-Dartmouth Spa-

June 11, 2017

Last weekend I spent the day at Dartmouth spa for my mum's birthday and it was amazing. I've only recently got into spa days but I'm now hooked and I would spend all day everyday there if I could, although I would end up looking like a wrinkly prune by the end of it.

Dartmouth spa isn't as big as other spas I have been to, but its still got lots of facility's and really nicely laid out.

Once we arrived, made our way downstairs and signed in, we where given a spa pack, which had a towel, a robe and a pair of flip flops in for you to use for the day. I always think that it makes for a better experience when they provide a robe, towel etc., it makes me feel more relaxed.

At Dartmouth spa they have a gym you can use, a steam room, a sauna, hot and cold showers, a Jacuzzi, a swimming pool and loungers to relax on.

The way its laid out is so lovely and the pool looks an idyllic blue, enticing you in. It also has a wall of windows looking over the golf course and the rolling hills of the Dartmouth valley, which was really lovely to look out on when you where relaxing on your lounger. They do also have an outdoor relaxation area, however it was a bit to cold for that when we where there, but it would be beautiful in the sun.

I spent a while using the faculties and then spent some time relaxing on the loungers reading my book, before jumping back In the Jacuzzi. We then when for afternoon tea upstairs in their brassiere. We each had a selection of sandwiches, a warm fruit scone and a selection of deserts and cakes. They where so beautiful and the carrot cake especially was so yummy.

We had a lovely day there and I felt so relaxed by the end of the day, I would definitely go back and highly recommend  taking a day trip there or even a weekend away as they are a hotel aswell.  They also offer a wide range of beauty treatments at very good prices.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend too xx
