-I've Finally Finished-

I’ve finally done it, I’ve finished my foundation degree, and I’ve never been so stressed in my whole entire life than over the last two weeks and it really took a toll on me. However I’m so pleased with my final garments and I’m now just hanging on till the 15th of June for my results. I can’t believe how fast this year is gone, far too many cups of tea and a lot of chocolate and a few tears and I’ve finished.
I’m not going to pretend that it’s easy because it really wasn’t. I wanted to do the foundation degree as a stepping stone from A-levels to a full degree, but let me tell you it wasn’t as easy sailing as I thought it was going to be. It was a massive slap in the face, and I’m a much more confident person now too.
Let’s be real A-levels are cosy, you're told how to improve
your work but your work is never really criticised or picked apart and you’re
mummyed the whole way through the year. You don’t have time for that on your foundation
course, it’s fast pace and if you don’t keep up you get left behind.
But don’t get me wrong, I loved it!! I learnt so much,
developed skills and made so many new friends and I wouldn’t change it for the
world.I've loved being creative every day and expressing myself through my work and trying out new skills, not always going how I wanted them to but hey, that's all part of learning. As silly as it sounds its like their your babies and you love them and nurture them and you want them to be the best they can be and I cant believe its now all over.
I’m now ready to take a year out and explore life more, 14
years of straight education and I’m now ready to hit the big wide world.
